Cleaning Procedure Forms & Templates In this document you will find 3 example documents most cleaning companies need to successfully communicate their brand standards, procedures, and job requirements to their cleaners: A Cleaning Procedure Instructional Guide A Cleaning Service Brand Standards Checklist A Cleaning Job Ticket with Client Details The goal of this packet is not to give you documents that are ready to go that you can just print & use as-is. The examples below are designed to be templates that can act as a launching point for you to create your own unique tools that reflect the procedures and brand standards of your cleaning business. If you are just starting out, you can easily edit these documents in Word, swap the logos, and hit print, but if you are further down the path, we recommend sharing the edited documents with a graphic designer to take the final result to the next level.

  2. Inside Refrigerator What tools do you need? Disinfecting All Purpose Spray and Glass Cleaner Microfiber Waffle Weave Towels Kitchen Sponge Plastic scraper 1. Work from the top down, cleaning from the top shelf down to the bins. The goal is to remove spills and crumbs and arrange all the food in an organized and attractive manner. 2. Before you clean each shelf, push the food on the shelf below the one you are cleaning back. Remove all the food from the shelf you are cleaning and place it on that lower shelf. 3. Spray the empty shelf, side walls, and back wall lightly with the all-purpose cleaner and scrub with the kitchen sponge (scrape with the plastic scraper as needed). Wipe it clean with a microfiber towel. 4. Dampen a microfiber towel with the all-purpose cleaner and wipe the bottom of each food container as you place it back on to its original shelf in an orderly fashion with labels facing forward.Don t wipe bare food. 5. Never throw out food, just place suspect items together on the front of the bottom shelf for the customer to inspect and discard later. 6. Repeat this method working down the shelves. For the bottom shelf, place the food on a clean microfiber towel on the floor. Work quickly as the food on the towel is now getting warm. 7. For the bins, place the food onto the same clean floor towel. Pull the bin out (if it comes out easily - never force it). Spray and wipe the inside and outside. Spray and wipe the bottom of the refrigerator under the bin (scrub with the sponge or scrape with the plastic scraper if needed). Replace and refill the bins. 8. Next clean the door shelves, again using the clean floor towel to store the food. Like before, spray and wipe the shelves, wipe the bottoms of items and replace them facing forward. 9. Do not clean freezers full of food. If it is empty or only has a few items, spray your microfiber towel and wipe it out quickly so the towel doesn t stick. Move items out of the way, but keep them inside the freezer as you work. Do not spray the freezer surface to avoid the chemical freezing. 10. Next wipe down the sides and seals of the refrigerator / freezer doors. Don t forget the edges of the body of the refrigerator covered by the doors. 11. Finally, spray and wipe the refrigerator front, accessible sides and top as usual.
