Building Trust and Transparency in Irish Governance
The Irish government has taken steps to rebuild trust and enhance transparency through initiatives like the Irish Freedom of Information Act. The government emphasizes accountability, citizen participation, and the use of technology to improve governance. Open data plays a crucial role in promoting transparency, with Ireland signing up to the G8 Open Data Charter and establishing an Open Data Portal.
