  2. What is Christmas? New Year is a holiday, that is celebrated every year On December 31st. The New Year begins at midnight on December 31st. New Year is one of people s favorite holidays.

  3. What do people do on Christmas? People decorate the house on New Year. People put up a Christmas tree in the living-room. People prepare different dishes, decorate a table and sit around a table at twelve o clock at night.

  4. How do people decorate the house? People put up a Christmas tree in the living-room. People decorate with toys, flakes and decorative items.

  5. Interesting facts about New Year For the first time in the world, the New Year was celebrated more than 2000 years ago, on January 1, by order of Caesar. The tradition of decorating the Christmas tree with lights began in 1895, when the Christmas tree in front of the White House was decorated this way. The first Christmas card was printed in London in 1843.
