Get Skills Train to be anything from a drone pilot to a supply specialist The Air Force will provide this training to all new recruits A specialty will be assigned to you once you join Specialty is based on a number of factors Education ASVAB Air Force Needs (Primary Consideration) Recommendation: Make sure you join for the right reasons!
Get Benefits Air Force gives the ability to supply education, lodging and food There still is an educational benefit for servicemembers taking classes Air Force members can attend college part time and get degree The main limitation is YOUR motivation Take advantage of these benefits, otherwise it will be a waste SAVE your money! Get a Future You can continue in the Air Force as a career and retire You can get out after your first enlistment and Get a free education with the Post-911 GI Bill Can do whole programs Can give it to your family Can use it periodically Not just to education! Can use it for pilot s license and certifications Always have the Veteran s Benefits to use (mortgage, home care)
Summary Join the Air Force to attain a goal Do not join just for joining will be disappointed You can get your goal attained with the following Persistence Patience Planning Think about what you want to do and get to that point The recruiter cannot force you into a specialty your choice Make a good choice!
