  2. What is the Staff Support Hub? NHS England and Improvement funded (approx. 700k to date) Aligned to the NHS People Plan Staff Health and Wellbeing themes Key functions (the Hub must deliver): Proactive outreach and engagement The facility for rapid clinical assessment, for self-referrals and referrals from other sources i.e. OH, GP Onwards referral and care co-ordination to deliver rapid access, as needed, to mental health services and support The Hub itself does not deliver treatment and mental health interventions

  3. What is the offer? 1. Freephone number 0808 801 0377 for on-the-day emotional support Supportive chat/signposting to self-help/signposting into organisational, local or national support offerings i.e., Employee Assistance Programmes Onward referral to confidential call-back service if appropriate and consented Note: available 1pm-4pm Mon-Fri from 01 June, scaling up to 11am-7pm every day of the year from 01 July. 2. Confidential callback service. Self-referral via the webpage: https://www.cpft.nhs.uk/staffsupporthub This service is run by psychologically trained health professionals and offers tiered support to staff as follows: Supportive chat/signposting to self-help/signposting into organisational, local or national support offerings i.e., Employee Assistance Programmes Triage and further mental health assessment and supported handover into wellbeing service or psychological services i.e., IAPT, SMHS (warm handover) Proactive follow-up calls to support successful engagement

  4. Who is being targeted? This service is available to ALL health and care staff in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, in any organisation, in any role. This includes everyone working in the NHS, local authorities and councils, emergency services, care home workers, social care staff and voluntary/third sector staff. We will be undertaking proactive outreach and engagement to ensure marginalised groups and those who have limited access to wellbeing support are aware of the Hub

  5. How can your organisation support the campaign? We know many organisations already have their own comprehensive health and wellbeing support offers for their staff. You can support this campaign by raising the profile of the service USP as complementary to your existing offers. Service USP is as follows: Confidential, independently operated, integrated service. No details will be ever be passed to the employing organisation. Priority access to speak with a psychologically trained professional who can undertake triage assessment if needed/wanted (this can be by self-referral or other referral) Access to the right support through warm handover to vocational occupational health, psychological or psychiatric/specialist mental health services in the system with which the Hub is integrated
