  8. God is triune There is only one God 1 Corinthians 8:4 ...we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one.

  9. God is triune The one and only God is three Persons Psalm 45:6 7 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. 11. God is triune Gregory of Nazianus When I speak of God you must be illuminated at once by one flash of light and by three. Three in Individualities or Hypostases...or persons...but One in respect of the Substance that is, the Godhead. For they are divided without division, if I may say so, and they are united in division.

  12. God is triune Genesis 2:24 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.

  13. God is triune 1 Corinthians 12:12 For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ.

  14. God is a loving father 1 John 4:16b God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

  15. God is a loving father 1 John 4:9 10 By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

  16. God is a loving father Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

  17. God is a loving father John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

  18. God is a sacrificing son Hebrews 1:3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature....

  19. God is a sacrificing son John 6:38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

  21. God is a sacrificing son John 14:31 ...so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded Me.

  22. God is a sacrificing son John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name....

  23. God is a serving spirit Titus 3:5 6 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior....

  24. Michael Reeves The Father, Son and Spirit love and enjoy each other and, created in their image, we were made to love and enjoy them. Blindly and foolishly, though, we have all turned to love and enjoy other things things that in reality are completely unable to satisfy. But the Spirit s first work is to set our desires in order, to open our eyes and give us the Father s own relish for the Son, and the Son s own enjoyment of the Father.

  25. Application 1 John 3:1 2 See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.
