Majlis and Its Manners A Presentation by Affan Shiji, Grade 7 A
Learning Objective Explain types of Majlis. Explain the manners of Majlis. Infer the benefits of observing the manners of Majlis. Say the Majlis expiation supplication by heart.
What is Majlis? Majlis is the meeting room used to entertain visitors. The term Majlis is used to refer to a private place where house guests and friends are received.
Majlis in Islam Islam encourages good gatherings between the people to strengthen their bonds. Majlis facilitates such reconciliation gatherings. Surah Hujarat, Ayat 13 O mankind, Indeed we have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another
General Question Discuss with your shoulder partner and write the names of the places in which you have seen a Majlis. DO NOT SPEND MORE THAN 1 MINUTE!
Types of Majlis Public Majlis A gathering held in a public place. Private Majlis A gathering held in hospitality .
