EU GREEN Research Collaboration Opportunities

Background [SEED FUNDING] EU GREEN (through WP3) has established two yearly procedures to stimulate research collaboration among our 9 universities. Researchers from EU GREEN partner universities can submit projects aligned with the 6 EU GREEN clusters for seed funding to develop collaborative research and innovation projects: - the seed funding - the researcher mobility program

SEED FUNDING RMP Yes, you have to contact the cluster leader Yes, you have to contact the host researcher center director Validation? Researchers in EU GREEN universities are eligible applicants. The mobility program is devoted to permanent and temporary staff (PhD, researchers, technical and administrative staff). Master students are also eligible ie for internships. You have to check your internal rules. Eligible participants Eligible Non eligible (only mobility fees like travel, accomodation, food) Environment expenses Any project to foster & strenghten collaboration between our universities (like European projects) Any project to foster & strenghten collaboration between our universities What potential further collaborations will be valued?
Co direction vs cotutelle EU GREEN special allowance UA will only finance the part of the PhD spent in UA, when the PhD student is enrolled at UA. Co direction Cotutelle 50% (with other internal funding like the research labs, internal UA calls, AFM) or 100% 50% Funding 1 diploma from UA 2 diplomas (UA + partner uni) Diploma Enrolled at UA if 100% funding If 50% are brought by the partner, it automatically becomes a cotutelle Enrollment in both university, but payment of registration fees in one Registration fees Mandatory. Length tbd. Only the salary will be funded by UA during the mobility (french salary, beware of the price of life) Mandatory. Between 12 and 18 months : the salary will be funded by the partner during the mobility (so the partner university must fund that mobility) Mobility 3 years 3 years Length of the PhD
Questions [SEED FUNDING] What is the selection process for the 3 projects within the cluster? It s up to the clusters to define an internal process for the selection of no more than three projects per cluster. [SEED FUNDING] [MOBILITY] How many projects will be accepted for these calls? The number of accepted projects will depend on the quality of the submitted projects. However, the set maximum is 10 mobilities per year per university and 9 projects per call for the seed funding. [SEED FUNDING] [MOBILITY] Regarding carbon footprint, what does it include? For the seed funding, it includes mobility and activities. For the researcher mobility program, it only includes mobility. [SEED FUNDING] [MOBILITY] Are Ukrainian partners eligible for funding ? No, they are not
