Understanding the landscape of employment and education in Tameside amidst the challenges of COVID-19, Positive Steps, led by Operational Manager Donna Graham, continues to provide virtual career guidance, resources, and support for young people. With a focus on NEET and youth progress at Year 12, the organization highlights a decrease in NEET figures and an increase in learning participation rates. Despite challenges in apprenticeships and SEND participation, ongoing measures aim to enhance support for youth transitions. Partnership working and a mix of virtual and physical engagement are key to ensuring effective support for Tameside's young population.
