in the country. There are seven levels of nursing education
in India today. They are :
 
1. Multi Purpose Health Worker Female training (ANM or
MPHW-F)
2. General nursing and midwifery (GNM)
3. Basic BSc. Nursing
4. Post Basic BSc. Nursing
5. M.Sc. Nursing
6. M.Phil in Nursing
7. PhD in Nursing

High Intellectual Level of Functioning:
High Level of Individual Responsibility And
Accountability:
Specialized Body of Knowledge:
Evidenced Based Practice:
