  8. Romans 8:16-17 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

  9. Galatians 4:6-7 6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!" 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

  10. POSITIONAL AUTHORITY: OUR AUTHORITY IN CHRIST

Ephesians 2:4-6 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

  12. Romans 16:19-20 19 For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil. 20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

  13. WHAT DO WE HAVE AUTHORITY OVER?

  14. Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

  15. Mark 16:17-18 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

  16. 1. Authority over satan, demons, demonic works, and influences: A. Sicknesses, and disease B. Situations C. Demonic influences over people

  17. 2. Authority over circumstances, situations, and over natural elements.

  18. EXERCISE YOUR AUTHORITY BOLDLY

  19. WE DO NOT DICTATE PEOPLES WILL, BUT WE CAN DEAL WITH THINGS THAT INFLUENCE THEM.
