Further cooperation area for implementation of the Strategy: Regional authorities, National authorities, Cross-border cooperation

  7. Transport Model One of the key project results - basis for preparation of project strategic documents. Traffic data collected during project own survey: questionnaire traffic survey on border crossings, profile traffic survey (measuring traffic volume). Main objectives: Diagnosis of freight transport system in the Trans Tritia area, Improvement of transport system in regions and across borders, Implementation of demands of White Paper on Transport and low emission, Solutions for sustainable transport development multimodal transport Shift of transport flow from roads to alternative modes

  8. Transport Model Transport model results: Analysis of transport flow between regions and across borders, Identification of challenges main bottlenecks, Analysis of alternative scenarios List of essential investment projects responding to needs identified Conclusions - capacity to shift road transport to: railway up to 50%, inland waterway up to 4% Requirements of The White Paper are possible to be met
