Business Services Business Services The purpose of the Business Services model is to fully understand and meet employers workforce related needs and provide added support by connecting them with resources to assist in overcoming challenges they may face in our changing economy. We provide: A local labor exchange Sectors and businesses customized workforce solutions that prepare and deliver qualified, viable candidates Subtitle Advancement opportunities to current workers

  5. To produce a more effective, demand-driven model by building high-functioning teams and providing a single point of contact for employers. Business Business Services Services Goals Goals This demand-driven model improves communication and coordination of service delivery and ensures greater support for qualified workers meeting employers needs. 5

Business Service Representatives Career Development Coordinators Build a strong relationship with the employer to be the sole point of contact for the employer s business needs Offer enhanced services, such as full cycle recruitment & job fair assistance Share referrals that go beyond the employer s stated qualifications during recruitment Inform employers of various hiring incentives, tax breaks or credits, and helpful, relevant programs Build a strong relationship with the job seeker to develop outreach plans to targeted employers Negotiates, coordinates, and executes the job development placement & provides ongoing support to the job seeker Writes training plan and processes subsidized employment paperwork Coordinates with special programs like TAA, STEP, WIOA, and Title III 6

HELPFUL TOOLS for EMPLOYERS QualityInfo - https://www.qualityinfo.org/ An interactive jobs-based database that contains valuable information on State of Oregon jobs, wages, and training that can be broken out by location. It also offers an array of tools and information about occupations, projected growth, titles for similar skills being used, and much more. Developed by OSU for OED.
