MEMORY VERSE And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the LORD, and see how they do. (Acts 15:46) TEXT: Acts 14:21-28; 15:35, 36, 41
Follow-up means helping new friends of Jesus to become strong and grow to be like Jesus. When a new baby is born, he needs food, water and care to make him grow and be healthy. 1. WHAT DOES FOLLOW-UP MEAN? If his mother refuses to give him food, the new baby may die. In the same way, when a sinful child becomes a friend of Jesus, he need care and spiritual food to make him grow well and love Jesus more.
2. HOW CAN YOU FOLLOW-UP? The new convert needs the help of children that have become friends of Jesus Christ. Are you friend of Jesus? If yes, Jesus is calling you to do the following things Him: B: Teach and train new converts to love and serve Jesus more. A: Tell others about the love of Jesus. F: Be friendly with them and encourage them to always attend fellowship. D: Show them how to do quiet time and read their bible. C: Pray for them and teach them how to pray. E: Share your bible with them if they don t have one. G-Visit them and pray with them.
2. HOW CAN YOU FOLLOW-UP?
3. WHAT ARE THE BLESSINGS WHEN YOU DO FOLLOW-UP? When friends of Jesus do follow-up, there are abundant blessings: i. There will be growth in the church ii. Answers to prayers iii. The new friends of Jesus and everyone in the church will be prepared for the second coming of Christ.
3. WHAT ARE THE BLESSINGS WHEN YOU DO FOLLOW-UP? Tell Jesus that you are sorry. Ask Him to forgive you and wash your heart clean with His blood. Are you willing to work for Christ? You can start today by doing follow-up. If you are still doing bad things, you cannot follow-up.

LESSON: Follow-up is a very important tool we must use for converts to grow and be strong in the Lord. THOUGHT: I will be involved in following-up new converts. ACTIVITY: Children should be paired and given materials to go out during the week to evangelise and follow-up new converts/comers.
