  1. We are living in EXPONENTIAL times (rapidly changing). These changes are largely due to technology. HOW DO THESE CHANGES AFFECT YOU? Thought for the Week

  2. Extract from Mary Shelleys Frankenstein This is the section where the monster is brought to life technology helped do this! It was on a dreary night of November that I beheld the accomplishment of my toils. With an anxiety that almost amounted to agony, collected the instruments of life around me, that I might infuse a spark of being into the lifeless thing that lay at my feet. 1. What is happening in this paragraph? 2. Has it been a hard or easy job? 3. Which word tells you this?

It was already one in the morning; the rain pattered dismally against the panes, and my candle was nearly burnt out, when, by the glimmer of the half-extinguished light, I saw the dull yellow eye of the creature open; it breathed hard, and a convulsive motion agitated its limbs. 4.
