Although you must accepted for enrollment at UF before you are considered for financial aid, you should apply for aid before being admitted.   7. After completing the FAFSA After submitting your FAFSA, please email your financial aid advisor at pharmacysfa@cop.ufl.edu to request a financial aid package. Title > FAFSA Update Please notice that our office will not automatically award your financial aid package if a student enrolls after the financial aid package award period.

  8. Financial Aid Requirements Who is Eligible to Apply? For most financial aid programs at UF, you must: 1. Be a U. S. citizen, national, or permanent resident alien 2. Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment at least half-time in a degree program. 3. Make satisfactory academic progress toward a degree. 4. Register with the Selective Service Administration, if required to do so. 5. Not be in default on a federal or institutional loan or owe a repayment on a previous financial aid award received at UF or other institution.

Enrollment Requirements A Graduate student must be enrolled at least half-time in a degree program: Half-Time Classification Fall/Spring Summer Graduate 5 credit hours 4 credit hours Full-Time Classification Fall/Spring Summer Graduate 9 credit hours 8 credit hours For some graduate programs, the full-time requirement may vary; however for financial aid purposes these are the enrollment requirements.

Students enrolled in approved graduate certificate programs ma be eligible for Alternative or private educational loans. Those students participating in programs not approved are ineligible for any alternative or private loans certified through the University of Florida. Some programs will list additional eligibility requirements.
