  8. Examples from previous releases Criminal Investigation: At ___ hours on (date), the _______ County Coroner s Office was dispatched to (location). The investigation is ongoing and no further information is anticipated for release at this time. The investigation is being conducted by the (investigating agency). Vehicle Crash: The _______ County Coroner s Office was notified to respond to (hospital) in (City) on (date of response) regarding an individual who had been involved in a vehicle crash (location of incident). (Name of deceased) was transported to (hospital) following the incident for treatment to injuries sustained during the incident. He/She succumbed to his/her injuries on (date). The incident is under investigation by the (investigating agency). Vehicle Crash: (Name of deceased) was transported to (hospital) on (date) where he was pronounced at ___ hours. According to reports, (last name of deceased) was involved in a vehicle crash at (location). The incident is under investigation by the (investigating agency).

  9. Press Release Process: Create the release using the template Convert the Word doc to a PDF. Distribute the release: o To: Your own email o BC: list of recipients o Attached the PDF Let the investigating Trooper know the release is going out. o BC the investigating Trooper (family is aware).
