  2. INTRODUCTION Alaska isone of the newest statesof the USA. Previously it was part of Russia, but in 1867 itwas sold for 7.2 milliondolars. It has been considerated as a state since 1959. As you can see, Alaska is geographically separated from the USA.

  3. Geographical features and landscape Alaska is the biggest state of the USA. Alaska is surrounded by Canada in the East, by the Pacific Ocean and the gulf of Alaska in the South, by the Chukchi sea in the West and by theArtic Ocean and the Beaufort sea in the North. Here we found amazing geographic accidents like Mount McKinley, which is the highest top of North America with 6.194 metres high.

  4. Another important geographic point of Alaska are the Aleutianas Islands, which sadly became famous because of the Aleutianas Islands war during the Second World War. Finally, the National Park of Denali is one of the most important virgin areas of the continent.there can be found all kinds of flora and fauna of the state like the ram of alaska, caribou, moose, grizzly bear or wolf.

  5. Representative people Kevin Johansen was born in 1964 in Fairbanks, Alaska. He is an American rock musician. Jessica Moorewas born in July 9, 1982. She is an American professional basketball player who is currently afree agent. Moore was a Center for the UConnHuskies from 2000 2005. Nora Marks Dauenhauer was born in May 8, 1927. She is an American poet and short-story writer and a scholar of the language and traditions of the Tlingit aboriginal nation in Alaska, of which she is a member. She won an American Book Award for Russians in Tlingit America: The Battles of Sitka, 1802 And 1804.

  6. FOUR MOST IMPORTANT CITIES IN ALASKA Anchore is a unified home rule minucipaly in the U.S State of Alaska. The City and Borough of Juneau is the capital city of Alaska. Fairbanks is a home rule city and the borough seat of the Fairbanks North Star Borough in the U.S. state of Alaska. Sitkais the name of city and a district in the State of Alaska, in the United States.

  7. TRADITIONS AND FESTIVALS OF ALASKA One of the most important traditions of State Alaska are rancing sleds pulled by dogs. The Totems are carved in some of the largest and oldest trees on Earth. The Native Americans believe that each animal has spirit. These animals were used in the totems ,because of their special talents,each totem tells a story with magical creatures. In Alaska there are a multitude of events as Silka Whare Fest, a show for lovers of cetaceans, of the Hummingbird Festival Ketchikan to enjoy the birds.

TOURIST ATTRACTION THE MOST VISITED TOURIST PLACES: The Kenai Fjords National Park is a national park in the United States located south coast of Alaska,which protects the glaciers of the eastern coast of the Kenai Peninsula. Misty Fiords National Monument is a national monumentandwilderness areaadministered by theU.S. Forest Serviceas part of the TongassNational Forest. TheAlaska Wildlife Conservation Centeris a non profit organization dedicated to conservation, education, and quality animal care. They're also dedicated to preservingAlaska's wildlife. Jungle adventures gardens or English Glaciers is a nursey and botanical garden of 5 hectares,located in Juneau.

  9. Typical food The food in alaska is identified by fish which is based on the most well known salmon trout , herrings and crabs . Others essential meatsin the kitchen of Alaska are the animal that they hunt : beef and deer , mouse and birds The dishes are fish soup , fried fish, fried meats and akutaq

  10. Typical music Alaska was home to some of the United States' renowned performers, such as the singer Jewel and Hobbo Jim, who was legislatively declared "Alaska's state balladeer". Traditional Aleut flautist Mary Youngblood siger-songwriter Libby Roderick, singer-songwriter- composer Bill Littel, the traditional performing group Pamyua and performing artist Karrie Pavish Anderson also identify as Alaskan. Alaska also has a prominent metal and rock scene.Metalcore band 36 crazyfists originated in Alaska.
