Leveraging the API and mobile app, healthcare staff like Jennifer Musgrove from the Float Pool have experienced improved efficiency, staff satisfaction, and easier payroll management. The app allows supervisors to monitor staff, review timecards, handle PTO requests, and maintain work-life balance. Both supervisors and staff benefit from accurate time tracking, streamlined workflows, and easy access to schedules and PTO requests. DukeShift is introducing a refreshed user experience to enhance usability and address reported issues promptly.

  1. Using Our Mobile APPs ITP

  2. How the API (aka symplr Workforce app) has helped the Float Pool Jennifer Musgrove, ANM Float Pool

  3. Supervisor Wins EFFICIENCY STAFF SATISFACTION EASIER PAYROLL ABILITY TO MONITOR STAFF

  4. I can review timecards during downtimes, such as waiting for a meeting to begin. My busy work schedule makes getting to a desktop to review PTO requests difficult. The app has made me a more timely communicator to my staff . I find it easy to use if I want to see when someone is clocked in . I like that I can find staff phone numbers when I m away from the computer. I also use it for rounding if I can t find someone on the unit where I thought they were, I can look and see where they are clocked in .

  5. Staff Wins Accurate timecards Easy PTO requests Work-Life Balance management

  6. I was told I was floating after I swiped in for my department. Instead of having to swipe out and swipe in again to the new unit, I used the APP to request a cost center change on the original swipe . I look in the app before reporting to work to see what unit I am assigned to work . I realized I forgot to swipe out while driving home. At home I could easily enter the request for my missed swipe . I love having the ability to get a quick look at my schedule when I want to make plans with someone outside of work . I use the APP to check my time card at the end of the week, especially to see if I need any PTO or PTO fill to get all of my hours . My best friend gave me her wedding date, and I pulled out my phone to enter the PTO request right then and there .

Timecards Stay with ITP Leadership ITP Leadership will manage Attendance Policy Issues ITP Leadership will manage Swiping Policy issues ITP Leadership handles problems with the paychecks Giving a unit manager access to that employee would give them access to all the ITP staff, not just the ITPs assigned that unit Different from ETPs whose primary departments are facility 8, the assigned department The ITP employee is primary in facility 1, dept 2420

  12. Help ITP Managers by Keeping the Schedule Updated Enter Enter the C activity code when someone is cancelled Enter Enter the ITPSB-A or ITPSB-P activity code when someone is placed on call Update Update the ITPs schedule when an ITP is floated Use DukeShift properly We can compare the department number on the clocking to the department number on the SCHED Extra shifts should be assigned in DukeShift. Duke Shift will place the shift on the API schedule and make it clear this is an extra shift. Will know not to enter missing time for the ITP This will enter the STDBY paycode on the time card Helps determine which autogenerated swipes are right and which are wrong
