Hammersmith & Fulham Youth Council: Engaging Young People in Policy-making and Representation
The Hammersmith & Fulham Youth Council provides a platform for young people aged 11-18 to have their voices heard and influence policies through research, meetings, and active involvement in decision-making processes. They meet virtually, have a focused manifesto, engage in strategic boards, and offer rewards for participation. Additionally, the council organizes elections such as the Combined UK Youth Mayor, MYP, and LYA in February 2022, encouraging youth councillors to make their mark on important issues impacting their generation.

Co-produce and seek the views of other young people on policies, activities and services. Involvement in strategic boards, commissioning decisions and interviewing of CHS professionals. Combined with Make Your Mark- Annual ballot of top issues impacting upon young people Full lesson plan and accessible resources. Point system to ensure fairness for smaller schools
