Introduction : We created this website to sell books online and also to allow books to be read electronically, so at first we bought the hosting and domain through a company and provided us with a hosting control panel, then We downloaded the WordPress software from their website, and also purchased the site template from Enveto. Then we create a database and a database user through hosting. Uploading the WordPress program files to hosting, then installing the WordPress program, installing the site template, and then installing the plugins that help the site to function, most notably WooCommerce.
Introduction : Then we started the process of structuring the site as we wanted. We also contacted libraries and publishing houses in Nablus to provide us with the books we needed at prices to be agreed upon. These prices are according to the type of book and the number of books we want, as we strive to provide the best books that are not available in many places, so what should the user have if the book does not want it on the site the site discovers that you can contact us through our Facebook page or through the site to inform us of the book he wants, and then we will provide it.
Our Vision and Mission: Providing various books for all groups and users at affordable costs by: Providing a wide range of books to satisfy our clients. Exceeding our customers expectation in their book requirements. Our vision is to become the largest online bookstore website in Nablus, then Palestine.
How the store works How the store works: The project team communicates with publishing houses, libraries and writers and obtain books in all their details and display them on the site for sale. The price of the books is calculated through the book price + the project team commission. The sale process takes place through the site. The book is shipped to the buyer's place if the books are paper. (Extra charge will be charged for shipping). Invoices and reports are issued through the site.
Recommendations: While there are a number of features, needs, and desires that are constantly changing for clients, there are some of these features that will not be brought to life in the final release of this project. However, here is a list of planned improvements for later releases of events: Message board and online chat for communication between customers. Providing a special page for customers who have writing skills to publish on this page their ideas and thoughts. The feature of delivery to customers from the customers (exchange of books between customers with each other). Connect our web site with mobile app. Expand our marketing campaign of the web site.
