Testing Day Students should arrive no earlier than 8:30 AM and no later than 8:45 AM
Testing Day Only students with tickets will be admitted. Parents may NOT enter the building.
Testing Day Students NEED to bring several #2 pencils, a sharpener and their 1st marking period report card.
Testing Day Students may bring a snack or students may purchase a snack from our class fundraiser (water; crackers; chips; pizza) for a fee. Please bring $1 bills if you plan to do this.
Testing Day NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES Students may be REMOVED from testing room and their admission process will STOP there
Testing Day NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES No calculators No cell phones
Testing Day Parents should return at 12:30 to take their children home
Room Assignments for Testing Students will report to rooms based on the town(municipality) the student lives in

After Testing Admissions test will be scored Rubric will be used to rank candidates based on: admissions test = 60 % 7th grade academic grades = 20 % 8th grade academic grades for 1st marking period = 20%
Interviews Top 120 students will be offered interviews For those not offered an interview, the application process is over admission to the Middlesex County Academy for Allied Health and Biomedical Sciences will NOT be offered
Interviews Interviews will be scheduled through January during the school day Prospective students and their parents will receive a letter stating the day and time of their interview. Students who did not qualify for an interview will be notified via mail that their admissions process has ended.
Interviews The interviews will last no longer than 45 minutes PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ATTEND YOUR APPOINTMENT.
Interviews If you do not attend your scheduled time, you will be rescheduled AFTER all the interviews have been completed
Acceptance The top 72 candidates will be notified via mail by January 30th, weather permitting, and offered seats based upon their final scores and rankings Final rankings based on interview 20% Pre interview data (grades, admissions) 80% Accepted students must confirm, in writing, their acceptance by March 1st
Waitlist The remaining students who have been interviewed will be notified via mail and assigned a place on a waitlist Should a seat open the next student on the waitlist will be offered that seat
Admission Ticket YOU MUST HAVE YOUR ADMISSION TICKET TO TEST and 1st Marking period report card If YOUR ADMISSION TICKET is lost, you must contact the Academy of Allied Health & Biomedical Science IMMEDIATLEY

Inclement Weather In the event of inclement weather, please check our website, www.mcvts.net for information If weather forces testing to be canceled, the make-up date is Saturday, January 7th
REMEMBER ADMISSION TICKET must have; pick up if you did not upon entering TIME Saturday, Dec 10th from 8:30 12:30
REMEMBER INTERVIEWS top 120 will be contacted for January interviews DECISION - By February 1st (weather permitting)
