History events Hoysalas presence in Karnataka was in 1200 ~ 1300 century ChandraGupt Maurya, founder of Maurya Dynasty took Samadhi in Shravanbelgola. Asoka the great is related to him !! Ajanta Ellora was made in the times of Rashtakuta Dynasty (8thcentury AD)
