Business Analytics Program at Wake Tech Community College

Wake Tech Community College offers an Associate in Applied Science degree program in Business Analytics. The program aims to prepare students for careers in analytics fields such as Business Intelligence, Marketing Analytics, Finance Analytics, and Logistics Analytics. With a focus on employability, the program covers core courses in analytics, data visualization, statistical analysis, and more. Through a partnership with the Department of Labor and Education, the college received a grant to launch the program in 2013. The program is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the ever-growing field of business analytics.

BAS 121: Data Visualization Utilize concepts and methods in the graphical representation of data Utilize concepts and methods in the exploration and reporting of data Conduct basic linear regression methods Apply data visualization concepts to communicate insights about data.
