Power Transmission and Distribution Network of Tunnel Boring Machine site Tunnel Boring Machine(TBM) Most of the parts work with use of electrical motors and consumes electrical power, generating electrical power on site with use of generators and connection also with government supply, this supply(11KV) reach to TBM after synchronization of generators with use of power cables and junction boxes, Step down this power with use of Transformer(11KV/690-400V) and Consuming this power for operation of TBM. Hypothetic example: Two TBMs was on site, each TBM was 3200KVA load and 6000kVA load for Surface, Slurry Treatment Plant and Slurry Transportation System. For each TBM three 2000KVA generators are using, in this one generator for maintenance and four 2000KVA generators using for Surface, STP and STS loads, in this one generator for maintenance.
