  2. June 1996 June 1996 WAS ESTABLISHED UNDER UGC s 9th 5 YEARS PLAN. WAS MOU WITH SWAMI VIVEKANANDA YOGA ANUSANDHANA SAMSTHANA, BANGALORE. 2006 2006- -2007 2007 THE YOGA CENTER BECOME A FULL-FLEDGED DEPARTMENT OF Yogic Science and Human Consciousness . Course Commencement: Wednesday, 1 July, 1998

  3. To integrate and promote the ancient Indian style of learning. Restoration of moral values through yoga. Role of yoga in the prevention of diseases. Exploring the usefulness of yoga in various fields (education , management, health and alternative medicine) etc. To create a scientific approach to yoga therapy. To inform the benefit of alternative medicine to the society . To develop a hospital of Yoga and Naturopathy in University campus.

  4. 1. Post Graduate Course (Master in Yoga Studies &Therapy Management) Duration 2 Years Qualification - Graduation + One Year Regular Diploma or Certificate Course 2. Post Graduate Diploma (Yoga Education and Human Science) Duration 1 year Qualification Graduation 3. Graduation (Yoga and Naturopathy): Duration 3 years, Qualification -10+2 4. Yoga Instructor Certificate Course Duration: 3 Months Qualification -10+2 Passed

  5. In the form of innovative research. In the management of stress-borne diseases. As a source of employment and livelihood. In the preservation of rich Indian culture. Helpful in the welfare of individual, society and nation.

  6. 1 "Award of Champion of Champion" in National and International Competition in December 2005, Bangalore. 2 Successfully conducting graduate courses for (Naturopathy and Yogic Science) from the session 2005-2006. 3 (i) Participation of students and teachers in the 5th International Yoga Conference, Bangalore in December 1999. (ii) Participation of students and teachers in the 7th International Yoga Conference, Bangalore in December 2001. Himalayan Yoga Olympic

Participation of students and teachers in the 14th International Yoga Conference, Bangalore in December 2003. 6. Participation of students and teachers in International Yoga Conference, Jaipur in December 2003. 7. Participation of students and teachers in the 15th International Yoga Conference, Bangalore in December 2005.

  8. 8. 16th International Yoga Conference, Calcutta in December 2006. 9. Participation and communication of students and teachers at the 17th International Yoga Conference, Bangalore in December 2007. 10. 30 students clear national eligibility test(NET)- 2017-2021

  9. To bring health benefits to the society through Yoga therapy camps organized by the students every year. To organize yoga camps every year by yoga instructors for university staff and teachers. To provide basic knowledge of yoga to teachers in refresher courses and workshops. Organizing stress management and yoga camps for Indian Army, Rajasthan Police Department and criminals.

  10. Organizing residential camp for 8-10 days at Vivekananda YogaAnusandhanaSansthan,Bangalore for the students for in-depth study of yoga therapy. To organize classes for the National Eligibility Test. Organizing seminars/webinars. Organizing Yoga (Female/Male) Sports Competition. Organizing workshop for new yoga systems. Organizing lecture series of eminent scholars.

  11. Every year International Yoga Day celebration was organized Organized Constitution Day, Non-violence Day, Martyrs Day etc. Participation in National Service Scheme program. Active participation in karma yoga and doing Karma . Organized Yoga Ananda Fair every year in the Dept. To give training to develop yoga as a sport. To conduct the examinations of Yoga Certification Board.

  12. To start Ph.D program in Yoga Science. To establish coordination with eminent hospitals for research in medicine. To develop a hospital and research center of the Department of Yoga and Naturopathy so that all sections of the society can get health benefits. Coordinating with various prestigious institutions of higher studies for the students.

  13. To promote research on the usefulness of yoga in primary education. Efforts for the formation of Yoga and First Aid Cell at the state level. To provide employment to skilled yoga instructors in various hospitals, companies, hotels, resorts, schools, departments etc. To make efforts to develop a hospital of Naturopathy and Yoga in the university.
