# Pre- means before and position means place. # A preposition is a word placed before a noun or a pronoun to show its relation to any other word of a sentence.

Example of preposition The cat is on the table. Simple preposition Two boys are entering into the house. Double preposition The boy sat beside his mother. Compound preposition Please give me a pen instead of pencil. Phrase preposition

Use of At Clock times: at 7.30 a.m. / at 5 o clock Festivals: at Christmas / at Easter Sunday. Exceptions: at night / at the weekend
