13. SUCCESSOR & PREDECESSOR SUCCESSOR & PREDECESSOR Successor is the number that comes just after a particular number Or the next number. Successor of 4699 = 4699+1= 4700 Predecessor is the number that comes just before a particular number Or the previous number. Predecessor of 4699= 4699-1= 4698
