Embracing humility can be challenging, especially in a society that glorifies perfection and self-centeredness. Through passages from Philippians and reflections on joyful Christian living, we are reminded of the importance of humility, selflessness, and focusing on the well-being of others. These teachings encourage believers to overcome adversity, share the Gospel, and experience true joy by following the example of Christ.

  23. 4.2 Jesus Christ Jesus Christ is the unique Son of God who is at the same time very God and very man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life but suffered and died in the place of sinful man, was buried, resurrected, ascended bodily into heaven, and will return one day in power and authority to earth to establish His earthly kingdom (John 1:1-14; 14:1-3; Philippians 2:5-11; Revelation 5:10; 19:11 20:6). www.cicfamily.com

  25. 9Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11andevery tongue confess that Jesus Christ isLord, to the glory of God the Father. Why humble ourselves?

  27. 12Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, Phil 1:27 Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent,

  28. 12Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation

  29. 4.7 Salvation Salvation is Gods act of forgiving sin based on the shed blood of Christ, reconciling people to Him, and giving eternal life to those who believe in Jesus. To be saved from the power and eternal penalty of sin, a person must admit that he/she is a sinner, repent and believe that Jesus died and rose again, and receive the Lord Jesus Christ personally as the only Savior. As a result, that person receives a new nature and becomes a true born-again Christian. Salvation is not a reward for good works but a free gift of God received by faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:1-10; John 3:3-8; 1 John 5:11-13). www.cicfamily.com

  30. 12Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, 13for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Phil 1:6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

  31. 14Do all things without grumbling or disputing, 15that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, World God s Children Blameless and innocent Count others more significant Also look after interest of others Crooked and twisted Selfish ambition & conceit Look after own interests

  32. 14Do all things without grumbling or disputing, 15that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, Matt 5:14-16 14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.15Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.16In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

  33. 14Do all things without grumbling or disputing, 15that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud Phil 1:6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

  34. 14Do all things without grumbling or disputing, 15that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain. 17Even if I am to bepoured out as a drink offering uponthe sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. 18Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice with me. Phil 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
