Clean Marinas Program: Protecting Water Quality through Environmental Stewardship
The Clean Marinas Program, led by the Puget Soundkeeper Alliance, is a voluntary initiative promoting environmentally sound practices among marina operators and recreational boaters in 25 states. By offering guidance on Best Management Practices, the program aims to prevent water pollution and recognize certified marinas for their environmental stewardship. Partnering with various agencies and marine businesses, the program encourages pollution prevention, waste management, and sustainable operations to safeguard water quality and marine ecosystems.
