  3. Theme 2: Working with Fathers Adults & Children s joint commission - self neglect awareness training & Elearning Mental Capacity Act. Finding 5 - Ensure staff across Children s Services have access to guidance on mental capacity and the impact this may have on parenting capacity. Finding 6 - Review current training on Working with Fathers to ensure it covers active fathers/partners. Adult Social Care and Children s Social Care will have read only access to Liquid Logic to enable practitioners to quickly identify if a child or adult is known to Children s or Adult services Internal L&D offer has been refreshed to reflect findings. CSC have access to Research in Practice Working Effectively with Men in Families . Learning from SAR Children s & Adults workshop 28thNovember 2017.

  4. Theme 4: Effective Multi-agency practice in Child Protection processes Proforma includes a section for family history & functioning. Refreshed Practice Guidance on Tri-X Chronology Quality Assurance by team manager/child protection chair person Audits Finding 7 - Check Social Care Assessment and Child Protection Conference Report proformas include family history and functioning.

  5. Theme 5: Improving working across Children s and Adult s Services Safeguarding Adults Level 1 Adults & Children s joint commission - self neglect awareness training & Mental Capacity Act. Finding 3 - Review current training provision to ensure it adequately supports staff to recognise self-neglect and safeguard adults. Expresso learning sessions facilitated by adults and children's social care on Navigating Adult Social Care What Children s Social Care Need to Know . Practice Guidance Finding 3 - Consideration to be given to briefing sessions for staff in Adult s and Children s Services on referring and navigating each other s services.
